I LOVE photographing first time parents for their maternity session. There's something that I can always feel about the excitement and anticipation they're feeling! This adorable couple chose to be photographed on Honeymoon Island in Dunedin Fl. We had a gorgeous sunset and beautiful weather!

This sweet 10lb chunk of a baby surely gave me a run for my money - but they usually do, and I still love every single newborn that comes into my Clearwater, Fl studio for their newborn photoshoot! I always remind my parents that their baby is still trying to figure out this new life after spending 9 months "on the inside" and they are doing exactly what they should be during their shoot. Even if that means pooping 4 times in an hour! (That may or may not have been what Elliot did during his session... I'll never tell!)  

This evening was absolutely crazy! We had super strong winds and as you can see, the clouds were quite ominous. We decided to keep shooting because there was no rain in the forecast, and I'm so glad we did, because I love the moodiness of the photos! 

Right after I snapped the last photo on Clearwater Beach, the skies opened up and we had to RUN back to our cars in the pouring rain! It was 100% worth it though. Don't you agree?
